have obstructions removed from road
leading from Wm. • Smith’s piece to
oounty line rood as petitioned for by
MoMesth, Ghastain and others, reports
that he has not discharged that duty.
The metter touching the opening of this
road was discussed by attorneys for pe
titioners, end Mr. G. W. Beverly.
On motion the Board prescinded their
aotlon of last meeting in ordering this
road opened. On motion the petition to
have obstructions removed from the
above road was denied. On motion
Mn. Elijah Carter was given an ap
propriation of ten doilare as a pauper.
Plans for a porch in front of jail were
adopted and the Chairman of this Board
authorized to let contract to build same
in accordance with plans this day adopt
ed, to loweet bidder. On motion Miee
Florence Griffin was paid ten doilare
for nursing.
