New York, Nov. 22.—James A.
McGuire, chairman of the election
board In the Ninth district, was ar
rested yesterday on a charge of violet

district during the afternoon of elec
tion and, going to the 20th district,
where he voted under another name.
McGuire is held under $5,000 bail.
