COMING TO THOMAS.
Some Notable Recoveries.
North Georgia Emigrants Seek I’uvu
In Large Numbers.
PLANT JUICE IS A SPLENDID
REMEDY.
There seems to ho "more people
moving to this section this fall from
north Georgia and' other parts of the
country than have over come In the
past.
The Observer reported a few days
ago that the fact that, fifteen families
were coming to this county In a body
frpm the north Georgia country. Yes
terday there passed through town a
long caravan made up of families
from hear Athens, who were bound
for Pavo. They had their household
goods and stock and was about the
most extensive expedition of the-kind
that was ever seen here. They have
recently Invested twenty thousand
dollars In farmland saround Pavo and
all have not yet fuond locations.
They say that another such cara
van will follow them, In a few weeks
-and that there is a great movement
among the people of that county and
the adjacent counties to sell out and
come to this more favored section.—
Moultrie Observer.
During the past week there have
been so mny reports from the re
sults of the use of the romodles, all
of. the most favorable character, that
It Is a matter of impossibility to keep
a record of all of them. A number
of gentlemen have voluntarily testi
fied to the wonderful effects of the
remedies while many others have
desired the benefits of the treatment
described.
The continued success of tho new
discovery “Plant Juice,” Is a suorce
of great satisfaction to Col. Dilling
ham for he has spent many years In
the preparation of this wonderful
Cure for rheumatism and has been
greatly interested In watching opera
tion on the patients who have under
taken the treatment.
Since the Introduction of Col.
Frank A. Dillingham's positive cure
for rheumatism, "Plant Juice” in the
county the sales of this remedy have
been record breaking. One would
have supposed that In the disposal
of so many treatments under the
rule of guarantee that In some cases
there would be returns from parties
who might have thought the benefit
was not permanent or really what
was intended. Up to the present
time hot a single bottle has .been ro-
turned nor has there been a single
failure reported. This Is a remarka
ble record and one seldom reached
by a remedy of this sort.
Mrs. Thomas F. Whipple, wife of
Mr. T. F. Whipple, Quitman, Ga.,
had been affllced with rheumatism
for more than three years. She had
tried almost every remedy advertised
and found no permanent relief. She
was Induced to try a bottle of Plant
Juice. It costs a dollar a bottle of
SO doses and while the price seems
high, when It is taken into consider
ation that It cures. It is certainly
cheap.
Col. Dillingham also finds that there
Is a growing demand among the
dealers for supplies of Plant Juice
remedies. This comes In great meas
ure rfrom - the owners of — country
stores, who carry a line of standard'
remedies for the accommodation of
their customers. Four merchants
from this county called yesterday
andmade application for a supply'of
the remedies, saying that tho calls
for It were coming so numerous that
they must havo the supplies. Col.
Dillingham furnished them through
his storeroom in this city. Inquiries
are coming from all sections of the
county, where the news of tjie won
derful healing and curative qualities
of the Plant Juice remedies has
spread.
The remedies are all compounded
and manufactured under the person
al supervision of the discoverer, Col.
Dillingham and are sold to the trade
at advantageous prices. The coun
try merchant or druggists who de
sires to supply the demands for their

Nobody will bo taxed for the build

funds now in the hands of the board
and that will accumulate year by
year. For soveral years there lias
been a surplus over tho actual run
ning expenses of the schools. Two
thousand dollars were spent only
last year In improving the South
Georgia collego building. The board
will borrow whatever amount is nec
essary to complete the new building
and then pay off the debt gradually
as the surplus accumulates.
Mr. E. M. Mallette made the
board an offer of a large lot on his
golf ground place. Tho lot proffered
is just ih the rear of whore Mr. J. J.
Cone’ house stood. Several mem
bers of the board favored accepting
Mr. Mallette’s offer and putting th«
new building on It for the use of
the primary grades, but other mcm-
'bers opposed and tho final decision
was to put tho building on the cam
pus so tho ontlre system of schools
would be together.
