tioned at Fort McPherson, and Lieut.

jutant General of Georgia.
Maj. McCoy will inspect head
quarters, the Adjutant General's of
fice and the general staff on Feb. 1
and 2, after which Lleat. Rucker will
take up the work from f'eb. 0,
through March 8. Then Maj. Mc
Coy will again lake up the inspec
tions and will carry them through
to the end.
The Inspections on behalf of the
state will be made by Col. W. O.
Obear, Inspector General, National
Guard of Georgia at the same time
the Inspections are roads by the Uni
ted States officers.

Federal court today tbe lottery cases
growing out of many arrests made
last summer were disposed of by the
defendants pleading guilty to the
charge of -shipping lottery tickets.
Two were lined $5,000 each and 13
$1,000 each.
All the defendants were placed un
der $5,000 bonds regarding the fut
ure. Judge Msxey stated that the
next offender would receive the limit
of tbe law.
