Yesterday wa* blind tiger day In
the City Court of Th^masrllle. Tbe
eaae of George Sampson, the Greek

by the grand Jury In October, came
up. He was lined «600 and paid
the fine. He entered a plea of guil
ty, and In'consideration of this only
a medium penalty was fixed. Two
other cases against him were nol
pressed. A case against Nick Samp
son was nol pressed .This was a
special Indictment. Nick bad al
ready been fined under a general
Indictment. He started to take the
case up to the Supreme Court, but
thought better of It and ceased his
fight along that line. He paid this
lino of $700 Imposed by Judge
Mitchell at tbe last term of superior
court. He also had been given a 00
day sentence on the streets by May
or Hoddenbery In Police Court. He
la now Working on this and ha*
about a month more to serve. The
officers thought that Nick had had
about enough and decided not .to
pusjt the case against him, so he
will have nothing staring him In
the face when he gets off the Streets.
The whiskey case against Ed Mitch
ell, an old negro, was also nol
pressed. Another^ alleged blind ti
ger keeper, A. Ganem, through hie
attorney, T. N. Hopkins, announced

mand for trial was entered on the
mlnutee.
Mabel Smith, a negro school teach
er, waa on trial for vagrancy. She
proved the validity and continuity
of her occupation and the Jury said
that ah* might go. P. E. Oarrlson,
a turpentine negro, was then put on
trial for Jumping a contract
Floyd and Howell. He alleged 111
health as. his excuse for delinquen
cy. Considerable amusement was
caused by the cross examination of
8. H. Wilson, a negro doctor, who
was up for expert testimony. The
Jury thought that Oarrlson really
Jumped the' contract, and he was
found guilty. Then came the trial
of Henry McLeod. Hqnry worka
for the express company and It waa
alleged that he had been enffhged In
a lively game of "skin" In the barn
of the Company on dmtth avenue,
one day last April. Henry, solemnly
asseverated that he had never gam
bled In his life. The Jury believed
his story and ,let him go.
John Dutton, the well-known
pbultry man, had been accused of
a misdemeanor, to wit: That he
had amputated the caudal append
age of a cow. The prosecutor failed
to appear and Mr. Dutton waa re
leased. Llge Oliver, accused of tres
pass, plead guilty and waa allowed
to go upon payment of tbe cost*.
Four white women, supposed to
have stolen some money In the An
nie Gill affair, tried Wednesday, had
their cases nol pressed. This was
the sum total of the court’s actions

Among the hundreds of remarka
ble cases which have been brought
to the notice of the people by Col,
Dillingham's wonderful remedies,

Juice Medicine.
The following case, therefore,
which came to light Tuesday, Is se

Miss Cassle L. 8hadwlck. Miss Bhad-

trouble, which had Induced a run
down condition of her system.
Being persuaded by a neighbor to
try the Dillingham remedies, she
purchased a bottle of Plant Juice,
and had taken hut a few doses, when
an Immense tape-worm passed ft^om
her ’system. She brought the para
site to J. W. Peacock, and In the
presence of over a hundred people
thanked Mr. Peacock for what had
beep, done. When questioned later,
her story was as follows:
“For a number of years ! have
been suffering from a general run
down condition of the system. 1 felt
tired and languid all the time, and
did nol sleep well at flight. Tbe
'slightest exertion would tire me, and
I could npt even stand any length
of time without having a dull, ach
ing pain In the lower part of my'
back. If I ran upstair* my heart
would have choking and dlitsy spells
constantly. ,
* My appetite waa very Irregular and
I would hare bloating of the atom
ach after eating. 1 bought a bottle
.of Plant Juice medicine yesterday,
and only took four doses when the
tape-worm left my system, II am
more than grateful to Col. Dilling
ham, and believe he has the most
wonderful medicine In the world.

Tells Why He Endorses Vlnol So
Highly.
First: Vlnol contains In a con
centrated form all of the medical
curative element! of cod liver oil,
actually taken from fresh cods’ llv-
ers, but without a drop of oil to
nauseate and upset the stomach, and
retard Its work, therefore where old-
fashioned cod. liver oil or emulsions
will do good Vlnol will do far more
good. V
Second: Because Vlnol Is not a
patent or secret medicine; It con
tains no Injurious drugs to react up
on the system, and you know Just
what you are taking, as everything
It contains Is printed on the back
■libel of every bottle.
Third: Because Viuot nets first
upon the stomach, creates a healthy
appetite, tonea up the digestive or
gans, purifies and enriches the blood,
and In a natural - manner health la
restored, and atrength la created
Fourth: Since we flrit put Vlnol
on the market our admiration for It
has steadily Increased, because It
rarely disappoints a customer, in fact
we can truthfully say we never sold
a medicine more cctlsfuctory to cre
ate strength tor o.d people, weak,
sickly women and children, nursing
mothers and to build up strength
after a severe sickness. • ,-
Again Vlnol Is endorsed by emi
nent physicians and guaranteed by
over two thousand of the leading
druggists of this country. These are
some of the reasons why we believe
In Vlnol. R. Thomas, Jr., Druggist.
