Cotton Jumps Up.
The “bulls” are feeling good. Cot
ton got a hump on yesterday, not
withstanding the advice of a num
ber of future brokers to their cli
ents to get “out from under.” March'
closed at .10.74, thirty-nine points
above the close of the day previous.
A number of people who were caught
earlier In the game are unloading
on this rise.

S. A. Roddenbery, W. I. MacIntyre,
W. H. Mitchell and F. D. Dlsmuke,
respectively shows:
That they are all residents of
Thomasville, Thomas County, Geor
gia, and that they desire to form
railroad corporation under the
name of "THOMASVILLE & GULF
RAILROAD COMPANY.”
The length of said proposed road,
us near as can be estimated, will be
One Hundred and Twenty (120)
miles, and the general direction of
said proposed road shall be south
westerly through the counties of
Thomas and Grady In the State-, of
Georgia, and Gadsden, Liberty and
Calhoun Counties In the State of
Florida. Satd road starting from
Thomasville In the County of Thom
as and State of Georgia, and running
to the Gulf of Mexico at or near
Saint .Joseph's Bay. -
The amount of the capital stock
of said company shall be Fifty
Thousand (60,000.00) Dollars pre
ferred stock, and Twenty-Five
Thousand (326,000.00) Dollars
common stock. The preferred stock
to be entitled to receive a dividend
of six per cent,
to the payment of any dividend upon
the common stock, but the common
stock shall have tbe voting power
