Woman’s Presbyterian Union, repre
senting churches of that denomina
tion throughout Southwestern Geor
gia, adjourned yesterday 1 afternoon
after three days’ session' here. Con
siderable business was handled and
the meeting a very profitable one.
Miss Lois Russell, a beautiful and
accomplished young woman of Moul
trie, volunteered to go as a mission
ary to Japan, supported by this Pres
byterian body and will sail in Au
gust.
Mrs. Tims, of Moultrie, was re
elected president of tbe Onion, and
Mrs. GUlard, of Macon secretary.
