Negro Caught With the
Goods—Prof Searcy
Tells-Other News.
Last Saturday night Marthal Davis
captured a blind tiger. The South
bound train brought a suspicious
looking box, out of 9ltlch some of
the Juicy contents were leaking. A
negro called for It, and not knowing
what the qontenti wefe aaked that
the box be opened before he paid
the amount of charges. It was
found that there were nearly three
dozen half-pint bottle* of “Swamp
Dew.” When he found that he was
caught he aaid that a white man had
promised him a quart for the use
of his name. So far aa I have heard
the white man has not called for the
box. > •*“
