A well known citizen ot Thomas
county who raises cotton 'and who
also takes an occasional flyer in the
future market said yesterday to
Times-Enterprise reporter:
"I was glad to see that cotton re
port Id your paper the other morning.
I see that you estimate the crop In
Thomas county to be 40 per cent off.
I have been all over the county dur
lug the last few weeks and I think
ynur estimate Is a moderate one. I
believe that the crop Is at least fl-fty
per cent off. A half crop la just
about what this county will produce.
“I think the newspapers are ton
much .Inclined to print the Mope'
sent out by Wall street, and not the
result of their'own Investigations.
It seems that cotton has .no friends,
and the continual publication of
bear literature haa caused the farmer
to lose confidence ot obtaining a fair
price.
“My personal opinion is that no
more cotton will be raised this year
than is needed and that they will
pay ten cents for it. Therefore I am
not In any hurry to sell. I think
it will go to ten cents soon.”
In Thomasville yesterday after
noon, good cotton brought nine and
one eighth cents!

Doan's Kidney mis relieve back
ache.
Cure every kidney ill.
T. B. Bolton, a well known painter
and paper hanger 6f 606 Jackson
street, Amerlcus, Ga., says: "I
think well of Doan’s Kidney Pills
for I tried them for a severe back
ache of long standing nnd they did
a lot of good. I have never been laid
up with my back, but there was al
ways that dull, heavy ache and a
continual weakness: When I sat or
stood in one position for any length
of time it was a study how to movo
without causing myself torture,
would get up off a chair like a man
of 80 years old. There was
strength In my back, the urine was
dark and had sediment in it, and I
was bothered a great deal at night,
my rest being broken by the pain nnd
the too frequent desire to urinate,
tried many different remedies but
nothing did me any good. I saw
Doan's Kidney Mils advertised at
length nnd got a box and resolved
to give them a fair trial. They drove
the pain out of my back. I no longer
fee 1 that weakness and the secretions
are normal and healthy again,
can sleep all night without having
to get up.”
