Planter’r Live Stock Insurance Co.
Pay Briley and Kirkland $200.
Dear Editor:
"A gray horse never dies." Now,
you have heard that said many
times; It Is a common remark—I
have I know a thousand times, and
then there’s Mr. Joe Briley; he
agrees with me when I say; I don't
believe a word ol It. You see, if
they didn’t die there would be more
of them, and then there was Mr.
Briley’s mule Nellie. She was gray
and yet he says:
To whom It may concern:
This is to advise that about the 1st
of August we Insured six head of
stock with the Planter’s Live Stock
Insurance tjompany of Thomasville,
Ga. On Saturday night Sept. 22nd,
we lost one of our mules. On Mon
day the 24th, the death proofs were
made out to the satisfaction of the
Company, and on Sept. 24th wo re
ceived check for $200.00 In full pay
ment of this claim.
In this 'connection we desire to
state that this Company as explained
to us, Is not operated on the division
plan nor do they call assessments for
each mule as It dies. Our stock has
been Insured (or two months and as
yet no assessment whatever has been
made, while we know that thore have
been several deaths and the claims
have been promptly paid in full.
We heartily recommend this Com
pany to anyone desiring to place In
surance on their live stock.
Respectfully:
(Signed) BRILEY 4b KIRKLAND.
