In Loving Memory of Brother
Andrew Frazier Berry.
Whereas, on the 11th day of Sopt.
1890, through the nntlrlng efforts
of Bro. A. F. Berry God met with
him and the good people of Met
calfe, Georgia for the first time in
the Methodist church which was the
firBt service held, then and there
Bro. Berry became the shepherd of
the Sunday school and from Sept. 11
1390 to Nov. 2, 1906, It was he who
led the little ones to the Christ who
said, "Suffer Little Children to Come
unto Me and Forbid them not for of
Such Is the Kingdom Of Heaveu.”
So he did and well did he lead them
by a Godly walk day by day.
As It has pleased Almighty God to
take him from our' midst to the
beautiful home In the skies to meet
some that have gone on before, and
to await the coming of: many more
of the little ones whom he has so
well started In the way he has gone.
Therefore be It resolved 1st. That
we as a Sunday school feel deeply
the vacancy made by' his departure
from among us, and look up to Him
from whom all our help cometh and
In this hour of' bereavement pray
God to strengthen us and to resolve
In our hearts this day to follow his
godly course and profit by the
walk and precepts he so beautiful
ly demonstrated and to lot the man
tle of this great and good man tall
on some one, that Che great and good
work started by this our departed
Brother may hot falter or lose any
of Its power for usefulness,
ture this church has lostl23456gus
Resolved 2nd. That In the de
parture of Bro. Berry this church
has lost one of Its most prompt, ef
ficient, and faithful members, whose
mind and heart were deeply Interes
ted in the work of the church in all
Its work.
Resolved further. That we ex
tend to his bereaved family our sin
cere and deep sympathies and pray
the blessIngB of our Father on them
In this time of their sore afflictions
and may they find consolation 1 the
thought that He doeth all things
well.
Be It further resolved.—That a
copy of these resolutions be given to
Sister‘Berry by the School and a co
py be sent to the Tlmes-Enterprlso
for publication.
