This space was bought to remind holders of our tags,
who may have overlooked the fact that our offer of presents
for the return and delivery to us of tags, as made and adver
tised in our 1906 Catalogue and Circular of Presents, expires
by the terms of the offer itself on January 1st, 1907.
We would not consider giving presents to one with
out giving presents to all, for tags that reach us after our
offer has expired,. and for this reason we will not consider
any cause whatever for delay in delivery of tags, and we will
positively refuse to give presents for any tags that reach
Winston-Salem, N. C., after Tuesday, January • 1st, 1907,
which is the full extent of time as heretofore stipulated
in our offer.

Atlanta, Oa., Nov. 29—The next
annual report ot the Georgia rail
road commission, now In the hands
ot the printer, will show that some
eighty-five miles of new railroad
trackage was constructed In the state
for the year ending June 30,-1908.
The total mileage in the state for
the period named Is 0,467.56. Ot
this Increase over the previous year,
fifty-five miles represent new tracks
of the Atlanta, Nnoxvllle and Nash
ville. Eight miles ot track were
required to link up the Collins and
Reldsvllle, the Darien and Western
and the Reldsvllle and Southeastern.
The Gainesville Midland built nine
teen miles' ot new road.
An enormous amount of construc
tion work Is now under way in the
state, Including the Atlanta, Bir
mingham and Atlantic, John Skel
ton Williams' new line across the
state, and other short lines con
templated. This will not be shown
until the annual report ot next year
Is Issued.

get off at Jarretts, Fla. He feared’
that the train would not stop there
