Rainhridge, Ga., delivered an ad
dress on "Tho Twentieth Century
Preacher.” Rev. Smith was follow
ed by Rev. Heeae Griffin who deliv
ered an unusually Inspiring sermon
on a "Bird’s eye view of missions.’'
During the day Mr. Geo. R. Neel,
of Thomasvllle, district secretary ot

Harley, of the same city who is
treasurer of the State Epworth Lea
gue Conference were Introduced to
the ministers nnd spoke on the in
terests of their respective responsi
bilities.
The Campaign Committee appoint
ed to arrange for the special Mission
ary Institute, Sunday Rallies, Doc
trinal Meetings and evangelistic ser
vices under the District Gospel tent
brought in the result of their labors.
The committee only planned till the
district conference which convenes
in June. At that time plans will he
matured for the remainder of the
year’s work.

The last sad rites were said yes
terday over the body of Mr. Clifton
Cralgmlles, and all that was mortal
of this splendid young man was laid
to rest in Laurel Hill cemetery.

Henry Lester, Walter Hargrave, and
Ralph Xeel. The servlcs were at
two o'clock at the Baptist church,
and many friends of the family paid
the last tribute of respect by their
presence.
