WEEKLY TIMES-ENTEKt’KISE, F EBHUABY 8, 1007.:
Women Who Wear Well.
It is astonishing how great a change a
few years of married Die crtc-n.makri In
the appearance and disposition of many
women. Tho freshness, the charm, the
brilliance vanish like, tho bloom from a
peach which la ruddy handled. The
matron Is only a dim shadow, a faint echo
oi the charming maiden. There are two
reasons for this change, Ignorance
neglect. Few young women appreciate
l he. shock to the ayetem through the
change which comet with marriage and
motherhood. Many neglect to deal with
the unpleasant pelvic drains and-weak-
n< s es which too often come wtth mar
riage and motherhood, not understanding
that this secret drain la robbing the cheek
of ita freshness and the farm of Its
fairness.
As surely as the general health

stroyed the barns on Wyatt Davla’
and Bob Herring’s farms. It then
seemed to skip over Knapp’s barn,
which stood directly in Its path, and
resumed Its work further on.
The telephone wires were put out
of commission. Many local phones
were dead, and no connection could
be obtained over long distance. The
wiree of both the Foetal and 1 the
Western Union were blown down by
the storm, and Thomasvllle was com
pletely cut off from the outside
world. Therefore no news could be
obtained from other points In South
Georgia, or the country, as to the
extent and seriousness of tho storm
elsewhere. Travelers from the
Southern part of the county report
that It did little damage there.
The electric light wires of the city
plant suffered with the rest. There
was no current turned on until near
ly six o’clock, and the street lights
on Jackson and Dawson were not put
Into service. itii.JMIft; ^

On Jackson stret several signs were
laid low, slid about a hundred panes
of glass smashed. The windows In
the third story of the Watt block
look like they had been through the

Stuart cottage on Madison, and many
other buildings by the absence of
one or two panes of glass show that
there had been a high wind.
The Finn block on Broad had re

Woman’s
Nightmare
No woman’s happi
ness can be complete
without children; it
is her nature to love
and want them
as much so as it is
to love the beau-
... , tiful and pure.
The critical ordeal through which the expectant mother must past,
however, is so fraught with dread, pain, suffering and danger, that the
very thought of it fills her with apprehension and horror. There it no
necessity for the reproduction of life to be either painful or dangerous.
The use of Mother’s Friend so prepares the system for the coming event
that it is safely passed without any danger. This great and wonderful
remedy is always ap-
}lied externally, and
las carried thousands
of women through the
trying crisis without suffering.
