Continued School Improvement.
Tbe town authorities have placed
a beautiful iron fence on tbe school
campus and will soon set It up, ad
ding much to the beauty of the
premises and safety of the trees,
shrubbery and flowers. There is
left but one thing for them to do.
Paint and 'pencil tbe building out
side. It Is a brick structnre and
presents a very handsome appear
ance.
Now that we have a good fence
around the college campus, why
can’t the ladles of tbe place organ
ize a School Improvement Club, and
assisted by the children, devote a
certain area to flowers, shrubbery,
vegetables nnd'the like? No school
at least In Thomas county, has so
beautiful grounds, nor so good an
opportunity to make a most charm
ing park with so Utile expense. The|
young people of the place delight on !
Sundays and special occasions, to
stroll over the grounds even now.

The reason is: Devoe goes further
than anything else. Lead-and-oll Is
good-Ioklng; don't go so far and
costs more. The other paints are
more or less short in one way or an- •
other; don’t go so far aid costs
more than Devon.
Devoe costs least of all; you don’t
mind Its lasting longer, do you? We
can't help It: a paint that goes fur
ther lasts longer: we can't help It.
Yours truly,
