WEEKLY TIMES-EXTERPRISE MARCH IS, 1007
Woman’s Watchword .
Is Modesty.
Whatever threatens woman’s delicate sense of modesty, frightens her.
For this reason many a woman permits disease of the delicate womanly
organs to become aggravated because she cannot bring herself to submit
to the ordeal of unpleasant questionings, offensive examinations, and
obnoxious local treatments, which most physicians think necessary.
Doubtless thou/..:: '.s of the women who have taken advantage of Dr.
Pierce’s offer of free consultation by letter have been led to do so by the
escape thus offered from a treatment repugnant to modesty.

“The Blood Is The Life.”
Science has never gone beyond the
above simple statement of scripture.
But it ha^ illuminated that statement
and given it a meaning ever broadening
with tlm increasing breadth of knowl
edge. When the blood is”bad ” or im
pure it is not alone the body which
suffers through disease. The brain is
also clouded, the mind and judgement
are effected, and many an evil deed or
impure thought may be directly traced
to the impurity of the blood. Foul,
impure blood can he made pure by the
use of I)r. Pierce's Golden Medical Dis
covery. It enriches and purifies the
blood thereby curing, pimples, blotches,
eruptions and other cutaneous nffectious,
as eczema, tetter, or salt-rheum, hives
and other manifestations of impure
blood.
