CURES »
SKIN DISEASES
No Ain Ssease can exist without an underlying cause, and in. most
instances that cause is either a humor in the blood or an excess of fiery
acids in this vital fluid. These humors and acids get into the blood, gener
ally because of an inactive and sluggish condition of those members whose
duty it is to collect and carry off the waste and refuse of the body. This
unhealthy matter is left in the system to sour and ferment, and soon the
circulation becomes charged with the acid poison. The blood, in its effort
to rid itself of this foreign matter, begins to throw off the humors and acids
through the pores and glanda of the skin. These coming in contact with
the delicate tissues and fibers with which the skin is so abundantly supplied
P roduces irritation and inflammation on the surface, and Eczema, Acne,
etter. Psoriasis, Silt Rheum, or some other troublesome and disfiguring
skin disease is the result. External applications, while they soothe the
itching, and are beneficial in keeping the skin clean, can never cure skin
affections, because they do not reach the blood where .the real trouble is
located. A thorough cleansing of the blood is the only permanent cure for
skin diseases. S. Sz S., the greatest of all blood purifiers, is the best treat
ment. It cores by neutralizing the acids and removing the humors from
the circulation so that the skin, instead of being irritated and diseased by
the exuding acrid matter, is nourished-and soothed by a cooling, healthy
abeam of blood. S. S.'S, goes down to the very bottom of the trouble,
removes the foreign matter and thereby permanently cures every form of skin
trouble. Do not expect to cure a blood disease with local applications alone,
but begin the use of S. S. S., and when you have removed the cause the
(kin will be free from disease. Snecial book on Skin Diseases and any

Lydia E. Pinkham’sVegetable Compound
has been the standby of American mothers in preparing for childbirth.
NotewhatMrs JaraesCheeter.of427 W. 35th St., New York says in this
letter:—Dear Mrs. Pinkham:-“I wish every expectant mother knew about
Lvdia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound. A neighbor who had learned
of ita great value at this trying period of a woman's life urged me to try
it and I did so. and I cannot say enough in regard to the good it did me.
I recovered quickly and am in the best of health now.**
Lydia E. Pinkhams Vegetable Compound is certainly a successful
remedy for the peculiar weaknesses and ailments of women.
It has cured almost every form of Female Complaints. Dragging Sensa
tions, Weak Back, Falling and Displacements. Inflammation, Ulcera
tions and Organic Disease! of Women and ia invaluable in preparing for
Childbirth and during the Change of Life.

will do a great thing for the Indus

they will stand by the compact made
at their national conrentlon.The fel

lessou, and the south will be so
strengthened that it will be better
able to withstand the bear raids of
the kings of frenzied finance than
it has been for nearly half a century.
This Is an age of fraternal orders,
