THE BAZAAR A SUCCESS.
The bazaar given last week under the
auspices of the Young Women of the

served was delicious.
At least $75 was cleared on the enter
tainment and 1 he money has been put
to the credit of the young ladies by Mrs
K. A. Crawford, directress, in the Na-
t:o lal bank. It will be sent to the treas
urer of the Winnie Davis Memorial fund
at an early date.
The young ladies desire to return their
i special thanks to Messrs J. P. Fears vY
j Sous, H P. Hinton, I. P. Morton, T L.
Abney, Eppes-Wilkins Co., J. A. Harbin
and S. Van Straaten for appreciated con

“You find that It pays, don’t you?”
"You bet—In lots of ways. For In

“Yes.”
"Then the illustrations of the author
of a book are worth double those of the

“Of course.”
