Deafness Cannot be Cured by local applications as they cannot reach the diseased portion of the ear There is only one way to core deafness and that is by constitutional remedies. Deaf ness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube. When this tube is inflamed you have a rumbling sonnd or imperfect hearing, and when it is entirely closed. Deafness is the result, and unless the inflammation can be taken ont and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing, will be destroyed forever; nme cases ont of ten are caused by Catarrh, which is nothing but an inflamed condi tion of the mucous surfaces. We will give One Hundred Dollars for any case of Deafness (caused by catarrh) that cannot he cured by Hall’s Catarrh Cure. Send for circulars, free. F. J. CHENEY & CO., Toledo, O. Through some unaccountable cause tho large boiler of the mills blew up, and badly wounded four of the men, while iv a: ly every man in the building was injured in some way, and thO plant was totally wrecked. The boiler had not be*m used for over an hour prior to the accident, so the cause of the explosion is a mys tery. The fireman had boon ordered to fire up preparatory to starting the machin ery. and had not yet raised full steam when the explosion took place. The entire village was shaken by the explosion, and glass windows were shattered. * The financial loss will be heavy, an there was no insurance to cover an accident of this kind. , OASTOXIIA..
