The members of the K. A. society
will give a delightful dance at their
Chapter house Friday night to be chap

members of this society always have
charming social functions and it is said

occurs the wedding of Mr. John Addr
son Harwich and Miss Bertha Jeter,
Miss Jeter is a young woman of rare

Mills in Atlanta, and since his residence
in Atlanta has won many friends there

OF SYMPATHY

Death of Officer
J. E. Elrod.
Whereas, God in His providenoe has
laid the baud of death npon oar beloved
friend and brother, J. E, Elrod, and
taken from ns the strongest pillow if
the Sunday school, he loved so well.
Be it Resolved 1: That the Sunday
school has received in his death a serious
loss, not only as an officer of long and
efficient service, bnt a brother ever ready
to make any saorifice for the pleasure
and good of the Sunday schoolchildren,
and do deeds of charity for the entire
community.
Resolved 2: That we, the East Ath
ens Sunday School, extend to widow
ohildren of oar brother Elrod, oar heart-
felt sympathy in their bereavement.
Resolved 3 : That a copy or these res
olutions be spread on the minutes of tbe
Sunday Sohocl, and a copy be sent to
