THREE DISTINGUISHED CITIZENS WHO SECURED APPROPRIATIONS FOR ATHENS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS- The legislatnre of Georgia has ne t made;appropriations to the University of Georgia in any considerable sums except in three instances. The first of these appropriations was made when Hon. George O. Then ns re presented Clarke comity in the Genera Assembly.
