to the memory of the dead sheriff. At

could be held and Sheriff Wier’s reg
ular successor could then he named-
This suggestion has not been made to
Ordinary Wingfield, but when it is
made, that official will no doubt see
the propriety of such ?n appointment.

approve it most heartily.
