To the Superior Court of Said County:
The petition of L. B. Flatow,
Adolph Zukor and Edwin J. Maddox
respectfully shows:
1. That they desire for themselves,
tbeir associates and successors, to
be incorporated and made a body
politics, under the name and style
of “Famous Players Film Company”
(Georgia), for the period of twenty
(20) years, with the privilege of re
newal.
2. The principal office of said com
pany shall be in the city of Athens,
said state and county, with the priv
ilege of establishing branch offices
elsewhere.
3. The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain to itself and share
holders.
4. The business to be carried on
by said corporation is that of manu
facturing, buying, selling, leasing and
renting moving picture films, and the
buying and selling of the right to use
moving picture films in the various
states, and for all other things per
taining to moving picture films busi
ness.
5. The capital stock of said cor
poration is Fifteen Thousand ($15,-
000) Dollars, all of which has been
paid in money or in property, taken
at a fair valuation.
6. Petitioners pray that said cor
poration shall have other rights, pow
ers and immunities as are incident to
like corporations, or permissible un
der the laws of Georgia.
Wherefore, petitioners pray that
they he incorporated under the name
and style aforesaid, with the power,
privileges and immunities as herein
set forth as are now or may hereaf
ter be allowed a corporation of simi
lar character, under the laws of Geor
gia.

other rights and powers as are usual

reference is had for purposes of ac
curate description of same.
This lot shall not be sold or leased
to any person of African descent, and
no building is to ho erected closer
than Fourteen (14) feet from front
line, and to cost not less than One
Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars.
Said lot being the lot conveyed to
W. I. Zachry by deed from R. B. Weil
of date March 11, 1910 and recorded
April 18, 1910 In Deed Book No. 9,
folio 19, said office, and on the 20tb
day of June, 1911, conveyed by W. L
Zachry to said Charles Emory Smith.
On this lot is a five room house.
Said property levied on as the
property of Charles Emory Smith to

' All that tract of land lying on the
north side-of the Athens and Lexing
ton public road, in said county and
about four miles east of Athens, and
bounded on north by lands of Will
Epps; east by the old Whitlock place;
south by said public road; and west
by public road leading to Winterville,
containing sixty-four acres, more or
less and being the place whereon W.
T. Wallace resided several years just
before his death. This place is well
improved and in a high state of cul
tivation. Said land to be sold as the
property of the estate of T. W. Wal
lace, deceased, for the purpose of
paying debts and distribution among
bis heirs at law.
