In a terrific slugfest, College Ave nue returned the victors over the strong “Whippoor-will” team- Price started for the “Whippoor wills” but the College Avenue boys took his Ineasure for ten hits and eleven runs. He was yanked in the sixth and Murray took his place, yield ing up four hits and as many runs in three innings. Among the College Avenue collection of hits, were three two baggers, one three bagger and a home run. Vincon and Arnold starred at bat for College Avenue, Vincon getting a single, double and homer, and three walks in six times up, while Arnold rapped out a two bagger and three singles. Fuller gave up eight bits, but kept them well scat tered and was never in danger. Flem ing played a nice game at third for the “Wfaippoor-wills” and got three hits out of four times np.
