TneanA p/idtection WHY WE ARE TRYING THE UNLIMITED-RIDE WEEKLY PASS VfU Many will ask ihow can we afford to try the plan of giving unlimited-car rides for seven full days for $1.00 when it is known to all that the electric railway department of this company has not made any money for years. The answer is that iwe have so much more service than patronage that we ffelt it worth while to offer to our cus tomers a plan that would give them the use of what isnow wasted car-seats without adding to bur expenses materially. Under the dollar rate, it will be noted that ye giv s. This i mm mm ive un limited service for the cost of only 14 2-7 fares. This means practically that if yju pay for two rides a day, you may en joy as many more as you please, , You can arrange to go to lunch at home. You can go to the college games fir the theater without any otlher cost than, the admission fee. You can make as many social vims around town or go to mid-week and Sunday services as j. often as you please. It will not cost you one cent more than if you had token an average of 14 2-7' rides a week. On top of all these opportunities, you are at liberty to loan the pass to anyone else whenever you do not need it. aL , tu Thefe are no strings on tihe pass. You pay fpr it and there after do as you please. You will not only find the weekly pass the cheapest pos sible fare for street car riding, but also the most comfort- •i«ht able to use the street cars than to run your dwn machine ' subject tp the annoyance of parking, protection against tampering and the like. You will find that the best car after all is the “Athens Electric”—unlimited service $1.00 a cj week! MISS DAW80N WEOS MR. PARHAM An interesting event of the week was the marriage of Miss Elis Louise Dawson of Wlntervllle and Mr. Jesse Norman Parham of Brunswick.
