The Camping Committee consid ered a number of prospective sites for the summer camp, and decided on Mountain City ns being the most desirable one. The summer camp, therefore, will be at Mountain City, which is one of the most beautiful places in North Georgia. The camo will begin about middle of June or the first of July and will last for four to Six weeks. The exact date will be announce later. A sneclal committee was pointed*to furnish the camp all necessary* equipment, Including assembly ball, kitchen, tents, cots, etc. The Scouts who attend the camp will be supplied with all necessary conveniences. A large number of Scouts from Athens, Commerce, Elberton, Gainesville, Winder^ and other points under the council, will at tend the camp, which promises to be a great one. The Finance Committee made a most excellent report, showing that every district has been coming up promptly with Its full quota quar terly. The treasurer of the Coun cil, Mr. J. Warren Smith, reported all bills paid and money In the treasury. The Committee on Leadership and Training /decided to prepare a regular training course for all Scout leaders and prospective lead ers, the course to bo given at n time best suited to nl concerned.
