The greatest of all days—"Moth er's Day" is being celebrated today in honor of one who means more than gold or silver—that being the love of Mother. The Christian En- deavorers of the First Christian church will present a pageant en titled “Aflothert” at the evening services today (Sunday) at 8:30 o’clock and a most cordial invita tion is extended everyone to at tend. Christian Endeavorers of Athens representing the Central, and First Presbyterian churches as well as the First Christian will gather In the big basement of the Christian church, Friday evening, May 25th. and enjoy a “Fellowship Supper," which la being arranged by the Ladles Aid Society with Mrs. La- Boon in charge. Mr. Carl Mathews, field secretary for Georgia will he the principal speaker at the rally which will follow’ the supper. At this rally officers for the City Union for the ensuing year will bo elected, therefore a largo attendance from every society is expected. The "Fellowship Supper” tickets can ho secured from G. L.
