mentary School of Lucy Cobb will
present “The Toy Shop’’ at the
Colonial Friday evening at 8
o’clock, under the direction of
Miss Carrie Walden, principal. The
curtain will go up* promptly at 8
o’clock when the doors will be
closed until the end of the first act.
Miss Walden kindly asks there will
be no applause. There will be
ninety-three children in the play,
when all nations will be beautiful
ly represented by them. There
will' be candy dolls, afld all kinds
of dolls, soldiers, Jack-in-the-box,
Noah and his family, ginger bread
boys, etc- Admission will be 50
cents and 25 cents.

the lovely occasion, which prom
ises to be the largest .and most
beautiful play ever given by the
elementary school, and really they
are all so charmingly planned, It is
saying a great deal to make a dis
tinction.
