NEW ORLEANS, I-a. — Liver
pool was due 5 down by New Or
leans on July, 4 to 13 up on new
crops by New York, 2 down on
July, 4 to 9 higher on distants,
| most on winter and spring months.
Southern spots Thursday were
{unchanged to 100 down except 5
up at Waco, Dallas’50 lower; mid
dling there 26 cents; sales at Dal
las 213; all told 3,485 bales vi
2,159 Wednesday.
Variation for week in world's
visible of American Friday likely
to be much smaller than last
year’s, 130,000 increase, but visi
ble apt to fall under 900,000 vs
2,088,000 last year. This feature
not likely to have much influence
values.
First of monthly private crop
condition reports probably makes
its appearance Monday. Some im
provement likely to be noted. Last
month first monthly crop report
was issued on 21st. Bureau
port is set for August 1st..
Meanwhile market probably be
governed mainly by reparation
news and Texas weather; continu
ation of drouth in Texas would
likely cause values to decline
temporarily unless European news
is very faorable. If reparation
matter is settled and peace re
stored in Turkey, Europe would
probably take 1,000,000 more of
American cotton next season than
she took this season, which would
make the need of a large crop all
the more necessary. Favor buy*
Ing, especially on depression.
