As a reminder, last year’s
bonds were voted for the
erection of two bridge's; one
over the Oconee river lead*
Ing from River street to Barber-
vflie and one over the same river
known as the Oconee street bridge.
The River street bridge has been
completed and it is a credit to the
city and county, hut for some rea
son the bridge to be erected at
Oconee street has not been com
menced. It was hoped that both
of these bridges would he built be
fore the fall and winter season was
upon us. Maybe they will, but the
time is growing short. However,
our commissioners ave usually on
the Job and we suspect that they
will see to It that this bridge is
completed before the end of the
year.

operations are safe and protected. The money does

of confidence in such institutions. It is purely a
business proposition with the banks and the rules
promulgated by the officers is simply for the pro-

and entrusted their funds in their care. It is right
and proper; It is honest and it is business for the bank-
ers to protect tho«e who have designated them as
custodians of their money.

with tho lubrication of your automobile. A
motor WILL run on an under-supply of oil, but
just as the body is under-nourished by an in
