SENIOR GIRLS®LIITERARY SOCIETY HOLDS FIR8T MEETING The Senior Girls' Lilterary So ciety of the High School bad hs first meeting ot the year on Sep tember 12th. The meeting was well attended and an Interesting pro gram was given. The pUna fir the year were/discussed and it we suc ceed with our attempts, we will put out an annual and a school newspaper and will give several plays. Our program consisted of violin solo by Mary Wood and a vocal ^quartette by Marie Tibbetts, Mary Fant, Winifred Fowler apd Annie Lane Cartledge. Our gecond meeting was held Sept. 27th. A very varied and de lightful program was rendered' consisting of recitations by Sara Brown and Altfce Rowland, a vfolir solo by Mary Wood and a piano selection by Thelma Leathers. Mary Fant gave a very helpful talk on 'The Rind of Books We Should Read." The program ended with a spirited debate on "Resolved that High Schools Should Be Co* educational."
