The brilliant tea was the most
charmingly planned of the bright
fall season, giving the several
hundred guests the opportunity of
welcoming the charming .honorees
and seeing the hostess's elegant

mahogany furniture,* priceless rugs
and' splendid old family portraits.
A wealth of gorgeous garden
Gowers'filled the lower floor with
fragrance and radiant color.

the hall and reception room, chry

end of the lovely table. The long
buffet was bright with an old fash
ioned China stand filled with gold
en fruits and purple bunches o(
luscious grapes.
