A. Sinclair, a neighbor, made here Saturday. l^ockhart is being held on & charge of murder and arson fol lowing instructions of the coron er’s Jury. On the night of the fire Mrs. Sinclair «ald Lockhart’s lit tle son, John, came running to her house with the statement that -Lis father had threatened to kill the whole family. Lockhart was taken into custody at the emergency room of the hos* pital, where he had been with hit wife when the six and one-half- pound baby was horn four hours after the mother sustained bum* that later caused her death. He was first placed in the city barracks under two charges, each of drunkenness and disorderly con duct.
