The championship brand of basketball began to be
very much in evidence Thursday in the 1926 North
east Georgia High School Championship Basketball
Tournament being held here as the field narrowed
down rapidly with twelve teams falling by the way-
side after bitter battles and leaving only eight teams
remaining to open the Friday schedule. When the
Friday night session is ended there will be only two
