presented in the Seney-Stovall
chapel Saturday evening at 8
o’clock by the boarding studems
of Lucy Cobb.
Preparations for the wedd'ng
hiave been quite elaborate, accord
ing to those who are getting up
the entertainment. Miss Nancy
Stormont, Jacksonville, Fla., ‘s
to be the bride, She will carry a
large bouquet of white roses and
orchids which is be'ng furnished
by Crucedale ag are all the other
bouquets. The maid of honor ‘s
to be Miss Evdayn Wellborn, Roy
ston; and the bride’s maid are
Misses Roganna Vance, Clinton, S.
C.; Marion {Reynolds, Atlania;
Edna White, Buchanan; and Mary
Lovett, Wrightsville. All tiese at

The groom’s part will be taken

—A sixty-five year old man, giv
img a Philadelphia address, was
held in SIO,OOO bai! Thursday on a
charge of threatening to blow up
the home of John J. %{askoffi, dem
ceratic national committee chair
man, unless he was paid SIOO,OOO.
He gave the name of Frank
Mooney.
The threat was contained in four
letters sent through the mails and
according to private detectives
Jtooney admitted the charge.
Mrs. Raikob was instructed to
answer and she did so, addressing
it to geners delivery, Philadelphia
vy steffice, as directed by the writ
er. Mooney called for the letters
\vgednesday night and was arrest
ed. o
