Bears Create
Hardly Ripple
In Market Today
By CLAUDE A. JAGGER
Associated Press Financial Fglitol‘
NEW YORK —(AP)—The bulls,
having failed to stir up any aectivi
ty in the stock market of late. left
the field to the bears today, who
created hardly a ripple. Practis
cally the entire list turned heavy.
but despite rather aggressive bear
ish operations in spots, most loss
es were limited to a point or two,
and during the early hours of the
session, trading was in lightest
volume since August, 1928, with
the lone exception of January 13,
last.
