Second Term cos School Year
We have naa no taraies for the
present six week period, and have
bad only one tardy for this term.
The following pupils have a per
fect attendance record for this
school year: Eddie Tucker, Fay
Timms, and Margaret Wilson. We
are sorry Billy Prickett moved to
Chase street district and Theron
Parker to Atlanta. We miss them
very much. Jack Barton and Do
zier Bradly from Oconee street
came to us the first of January.
We are glad to have them in our
class.

Hamilton Branch Given
State Teachers College
President Jere M. Pound has
just been notified of a donation for
the Georgia State Teachers Col—‘
[ece of the library belonging to |
the late Mrs. Hamilton Branch.
Her daughter, Mrs. James L. Sex- |
ton of this city is making this do
nation because her mother had
been interested in the students at
tha Teachers College.
This library consists of several
hundred volumes, including many
sets of standard . works, togethor
with Confederate histories! books
of poetry and a splendid collec
tion of fiction. Teachers College
feels that it is very fortunate in
deed to come inte possession of
this most vaiuable ' library.
Christmas decorations and it
seems as if we are lost without
them. We have finished the beol,
“Heidi,” and we sure did enjoy it.
We want to thank Marjorie Davi
son for bringing the book for ns
to read. We all bhad a Merry
Christmas until we learned of the
death of our true friend, Mr. G.
G. Bond. He had been our sup
erintendent since we were in the
first grade until he resigned in
