Interesting Meeting
The Business /'Girls’ Club - met
Tuesday evening/at 6:30 at the Y.
W. C. A. home with Miss Mamie
Hillsman and her group :serving
a most delicious pupper. The dec
orations were c:nplete “dn every

season, The long: table was over
laid with a red and white checked
damask cover. and at intervals
along the table were placéd bowls
of spirea and iris and*U S. flags.
After the suppér was served
Miss Lurline Collier entertained
the club with a very interesting
talk on “The Modern @irl and Her
Dress.” R
The business session followed
with Miss Lola Etheridge presid
ing. Announcernent was made that
the Business Girls assisted by a
group of players from the Georg’:aj
Railroad would present a minstrel
on Saturday evening, March 12 at
ne Colonial Theater. The proa
ceeds from this peprformance to go
toward building a recreation hall
at wie Y. W, C. A. camp.

Jack Davis, the young son of Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Davis celebrated
his eleventh birthday anniversary
Tuesday afternoon with a delight
ful skating party at the Y. W. C.
A. which assembled thirty girls
and boys for the happy occasion.
