Threat Is Dispelled
CINCINNATI, Ohio.—(AP)—The
threat of a milk “famine” tem
porarily dispelled, residents of the
greater Cincinnati area found the

step when they awoke Tuesday.
A three-day strike of union
milk wagon drivers, in ‘which
several of their substitutes were
‘heaten, wagons overturned, deliv
leries suspended and police swamp
ed with ecalls for assistance, end
ed Monday night with dealers and
drivers agreeing to arbitrate a
‘Proposed 20 percent wage reduc
