peared on the
F. M. Williams horizon for the
Athenians Wednesday afternoon
before Coach Howeil Hollis was to
call off the heavy duties incident
to th¢ Monroe battle.
The Maroons will be strengthen.
ed to a great extent in the Monroe
game by the return of Harold
Epps, regular fullback, to the
iineup. Epps is a valuable man to
the team as he can run ends, buck
the line or snag passes out of the
air. He also does the kicking for
the team, He has been out since
the third game of the year with
an injured hip. It was slow re
'sponding to treatment and as a
result is just getting into shape
for him to play.
. While Epps was returning to, the
lineup, a valuable substitute was
going out of the lincup. The re
serve is George Wilson, backfield
: man. who has been out for greater
'part of the season with an injured
collar bone, The injury was
thought not to be very serious, but
it developed into a serious one,
!jle reinjured it in practice Tues
\day and is out for the remainder
of the year.

Remember Only Medicine Helps A Sore Throat
Modern medical science now throws
an entirely new light on sore throat.
A way that eases the pain, rawness
and irritation in as little as two or
three minutes.
Results are among the most
extraordinary in medical science.
On doctors’ advice, millions are fol
lowing this way . . . discarding old
time “washes” and “antiseptics.”
For it has been found that only medi
cine can help a sore throat.
Simple To Do. All you do is
crush and dissolve three BAYER
Aspirin Tablets in half a glass of
water. Gargle with it twice—as
pictured above. If you have any
indication of a cold — before %ar—
gling take 2 Bayer Aspirin Tablets
with a full glass of water. This is to
combat any signs of cold that have
gone into your system. Keep on
taking if cold has a “hold.” For
Genuine Bayer Aspirin will not harm
you. Your doctor will tell you, it
does not depress the heart. Get a
box of 12 or a bottle of 100 at any
drug store,
