Sanders conveyed by deed to J.

therein described, to secure the
payment of twelve promissory
notes of even date with said deed
and for the aggregate amount of
five hundred dollars, with inter
est thereon from maturity at the
rate of 8 per cent per annum; all
of said notes have been paid ex
cept the one last falling due, April
15, 1927, for principal’ sum of two
hundred and twenty five dollars,.
and the interest on this note has

The petition of THE WEBB
CRAWFORD COMPANY respect
fully shows:
1. That it is a corporation ex
isting and doing business under a
charter granted by the Superior
Court of Clarke County, Georgia,
on the 4th day of January, 1913,
and' that its said charter will ex
pire on the 3rd day of January,
1933.
2. That said incorporation was
for the purpose of carrying on the
business of wholesale and retail
grocerymen; buying and . selling
‘all articles and things as are us
ually embraced in the wholesale
and rvetail grocery business, and
all such articles and things as
may profitably be handled and
sold in connection therewith, and
for other kindred purposes :et
fort hin said original petition, and
in the crder granting the same.
3. Phat there ~‘has been no
amendment to its charter and the
same is now as was originally
granted, except that by vote of
the shareholders said capital
stock has been increased to $130,-
000.00.
4. That it desires its charter
shall be renewed for another
twonty years and amended as
hereinafter set forth and to this
end a meeting of the stockholders
was held on the 15th day of Octo
ber, 1932, at which a majority of
the stock was represented in per
son, and of which meeting all of
the stockholders had written no
tice, and at said meeting all of the
stock present voted for the re
newal and amendment of sa.d
charter, all of which is set forth
in the extract of the minutes, duly
certified and hereto attached.
5. That by reference to said
minutes it was resolved that the
charter should be amended in the
following manner:
(a) Said corporation shall have
the privilege of increasing its cap
ital stock to $500,000.00 by a ma
jority vote of share holders, said
