BANNER-WATCHMAN.
That is wh^t a great
many people are doing.
They don’t know just what
is the matter, but they have
a combination of pains and
aches, and each month they
grow worse.
The only sure remedy
yet found is Brown’s Iron
Bitters, and this by rapid
and thorough assimilation
with the blood purifies and
enriches it, and rich, strong
blood flowing to every part
of the system repairs the
wasted tissues, drives out
disease and gives health and
strength.
This is why Brown’s
Iron Bitters will cure
kidney and liver diseases,
consumption, rheumatism,
neuralgia, dyspepsia, mala
ria, intermittent fevers, &c.

“June 23,1883.—Wo have made a careful analytical test of Royal Baking Powder, pur

The Royal Baking Powder received tho highest award over all competitors at the Vienna
World’s Exposition, 1973; at the Centennial, Philadelphia, 1876; at the American Institute, and
at State Fairs throughout the country.
No other article of human food has over received such high, emphatic, and universal endorse
ment from eminent chemists, physicians, scientists, and Boards of Health all over the world.
Nom—Tho above Diagram illustrates the comparative worth of various Baking rowders,
ts shown by Chemical Analysis and experiments made by Prof. Schedler. A one’pound can of
each powder was taken, the total leavening power or volume in each can calculated, the result
being as indicated. This practical test for worth by Trof. Schedler only proves what eveiy
observant consumer of the Royal Baking Powder knows by practical experience, that, while it
costs a few cents per pound more than the onlinnry kinds, it is far more economical, and,
besides, affords tho advantage of better work. A single trial of the Royal Baking Powder will
convince any fair minded person of these facts.
* While the diagram chows some of the alum powders to be of a higher degree of strength
than other powders ranked below them, it Is not to be taken as indicating that they have an*
value. All slum powders, no matter how high their strength, are to be avoided as dangerous.

Our enterprising friend Mr. T.
Hadaway informs us that he is now
doing one of the best businesses he
has ever transacted. Last Saturday
he sold eight fine sets of harness,
besides other goods. He keeps
hands at work both night and day to
fill orders, and will even now have
to send off for extra help to finish np
some hurge contracts he has on
hand. Hia harness oil is taking the
day, and he is shipping a great deal
of it to distant states. The secret of
Mr. Hadaway’s success is that he is
a reliable merchant, keeps first-class
goods, sells low, and is a persistent
advertiser. He-does not keep his
light hid under a bushel, but let’s
the people know what he hat. If
you want any article in the harness
or saddlery line give HadaWy a
call. He has the best of goods and
his prices are rock bottom.
