E. R. R. & Air Line I reached the beautiful little village of Clarksville, and from appearances around the town nature ccftaiuly must havo tried lo see if one hill could not be made higher than another. Clarksville has some improvements going on. We notice a new hotel, the Alegany House,, undergoing repairs, and uo doubt will be kept in splendid style for summer boarders. Miss Clifford A. Stanford having just returned from the North will no doubt run the Alegany House in the most approved style. Mr Speer the leader of tfre independent movement made a speech and as usual pitched into the organ ized democracy.
