[From the Christian Index, July 11, 1878.J Hitherto there has been an un satisfied demand for a Parlor Organ which should combine power, sweet- 1 ness and variety of tone with a per- I feet action, enclosed in a rich and j ornamental case, which could lie sold j at a very moderate juice. After j spending large sums of money in j experimenting, J. E-tey & Co. have j at last succeeded in manufacturing ; an organ which covers the whole I ground. The action, by an ingenious j and yet perfectly simple mechanism, has been rendered independent, and j cannot be affected, like others, by j chiuges in the weather. The stom ach is affected with loss of appetite and sickness; the bowels in general are costive, sometimes alternative with lax; the head is troubled with pain, accompanied with a dull, heavy sen sation in the back part. There is gen erally a considerable loss of memory, accompanied with a painful sensation of having left undone somcth'ag which ought to have been done. A slight, dry cough is sometimes an attendant. Pretty and Young.—In every feature but the hair, which had grown white from fever. This lady at 35 writes us; “I have used Parker’s Hair Balsam six months and am more than pleased with it. It has n stored the natural brown color of my hair j and given it a silky softne—, r.iecr than ever be:ore. There is no Dand ruff, no falling hair, and it leaves the scalp so clean and nice and cool, that I am ever so much pleased, and I feel and look like myself again.*’ Disinfectant properties that enter chemically into this preparation ren der il healing, cleansing anil healthful, and the beautiful, fresh and vigorous hair it produces, together with its property of restoring the hair to its natural youthful color, leaving the head entirely freed from Dandruff, clean and healthy, surprises no less than it pleases. Buy a bottle from your druggist, R.-T. Brumbv & Co , and test its merits. Good Digestion.—“ Give us this day our daily bread” and good medi cine to digest it, is both reverent and human. The human stomach and liver me fruitful sources of life’s comforts ; or disordered and diseased, they tingle miser; along every nerve and through every artery. The man or woman with good digestion see beauty os they walk, and overcome obstacles they meet in the routiue of life, where tho dispeptiu sees only gloom and stumbles and growls at even imaginary objects. The world still needs two or three new kinds of medicine before death can be perfectly abolished ; but that many lives have been prolonged, and many sufferers from Liver disease, Di-pepsia and Headache, have been cured by Mor rell’s Hepatine, is no longer a doubt. It cures Headache in twenty minutes, and there is no question but what it is the most wonderful discovery made in medical science. Those afflicted with Biliousness and I.iver Complaint should use Merrcll’s He]inline. It can be had at Dr. C. W. Long <fc Co., 5s pn lie is satisfied that exercise would be beneficial to him, yet he can scarcely summon up fortitude enough to try it. In fact, he distrusts every remedy. Several of the above symptoms attend the disease, but cases have occurred where few of them existed, yet exam ination of the body, after death, has shown the liver to have been exten sively deranged. AGUE AND FEVER. Dr. C. McLane’s Liver Pills, in cases of Ague and Fever, when taken with Quinine, arc productive of the most happy results. No better cathartic can be used, preparatory to, or after taking Quinine. We would advise all who are afflicted with this disease to give them a fair trial. For all bilious derangements, and as a simple purgative, they are un- equalcd. BEV.-VGE OF IMITATIONS. The genuine are never sugar coated. Every box has a red wax seal on the lid, with the impression Dr. McLane’s Liver Pills. The genuine McLane’s Liver Pills hear the signatures of C. McLane and Fleming Bros, on the wrappers. Insist upon having the genuine Dr. C. McLane’s Liver Pills, prepared by Fleming Bros., of Pittsburgh, Pa., the market being full of imitations of the name McLane, spelled differently but same pronunciation.. GENTLEMEN. LADIES.
