Important to Tax Payers,
William Camp, (colored) lt::s been
in Jail for nearly one mouth, charged
with simple larceny. He is costing
Clarke County sixty cents a day, and
is thus rapidly chawing a hole in our
finajnees. We hope that the County
Court will have an Annual Meeting
before another month rolls by and im
vestigato the charge. If Billy i$
guilty let him, ho sent to the cliahi
gang, and if he be innocent let him
quit boarding on the county.
