Garrhon has opened a that he has on his excursion bills is a j store out on the Harmony Grove road, dition fo the general irregularities ol the gentleman’s face, one nostril of his nose is closed ; but, in spite of so many difficulties to contend with, Dr. J. A. Chappie has succeeded in making an artificial nose, and fitted it on with the gientest precision. The nose is made of vulcanized rubber, painted flesh color, and is adjusted to its proper place by means of a rubber ap|>endage which is inserted itilo the remaining nostril, and this with the assistance ot a piece ot slicking p’aster placed at the upper junction of the artificial, and tlie remaining part of the natural nose, holds it securely in its proper place. The workmanship is of the fin est and most delicate order, and at a little distance it would never be rec ognized as a stimulated member. This is certainly a giaml success in the way of substituting nature by art, and most creditable to tbe genius of the professional gentleman who nccotn plished the work.
