The petition of Dave Ruddock, J. C.
Hutching. Joe Fambro, Paul II. Con-
oily and Clarence Wood, all of said
State and County, respectfully shows:
1.
That they desire for themselves,
their associates and successors, to be
incorporated and made a body politic
under the nuino and style "PADDOCK
& COMPANY, INC." for the period of
twenty years.
The principal office of said Com
pany shall be In the City of Athens,
State and County aforesaid, but pe
titioners desire the riffht to establish
branch offices within the Plate or else
where whenever the holders of a ma
jority of the stock may so determine.
3.
The object of said corporation is
pecuniary gain.
4.
The business to be caritfed on by
said corporation is wholesale and re
tail trade, in groceries and foodstuffs.

The capital stock of said corpora
tion shall be $40,000.00 par value,
with the privilege of increasing same
to the sum of $100,000.00 by a majori
ty vote of the stockholders. Said
stock to be dlvtided into shares of
$100.00 each. Twenty-five per cent of
the capital stock of the corporation
has already been paid in. Petitioners
desire the right to have the subscrip
tions to said capital stock paid In
money or property to bo taken at a
fair valuation.
6.
The subscription price to salt
stock shall be $125.00 for each $100.00
share therein.
All of said stock shall be common.
8.
Petitioners desire the right to sue
and he sued, to have and use a Com
mon seal, to mako all necessary by
laws and regulations, and to do all
other things that may be necessary
for tho carrying on of said business.

They desire for said Company the
power and authority to apply for and
accept amendments to its charter of
either form or substance by a vote of
a majority of Its stock outstanding at
the time.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to
be Incorporated under the name and
style aforesaid, with tho powers and
privileges and Immunities herein set
forth and as are now or may hereafter
be allowed a corporation of similar
character under the laws of Georgia.
