culture committee’s resolution to re
vive the war finance corporation.
Debate on the measure was led by
Senators Dial, of South Carolina;
Smith, of Georgia, democrats, and
Capper, of Kansas, republican, brought
forth no pronounced opposition to ths
legislation and tonight Senator
Oronna, republican, of North Dakota,
expressed confidence tbat it would be
adopted.
