WEDDING BEAUTIFUL
SOCIAL EVENT.
Yestfrdav at high noon the mar
riage of Miss Fannie Neal Anderson
and Mr, A. B. Thomas, of Atlanta, was
beautifully solemnized at the home
of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John T. Anderson, on Prince avenue,
in the presence of the family and a
few do so friends. Dr. S. II. IlcK,,
of Atlanta, was the officiating mi l
ls ter.
The attractive home was very love
ty In the artistic decorations of
palms and ferns, ar.d quantities of
wreetpens throughout the lower
floor, mnkfng a charming setting for
the Intereztlng occasion with the
soft glow from many waxen tapers
gleaming against the wealth of green-
orv. The wedding music was played
by Mias Margaret Anderson, who
sang "The Love Song,” from Delilah
accompanied by Miss Mary Anderson
pn the violin.
The bride was particularly hand
some In her traveling suit of Peach-
iilobm cloth of Nadalcne blue, trim
med In squirrel, with hat of silver
clolli. Her corsage was orchids and
valley lilies,
iFollowIng the ceremony a delicious
buffet luncheon was served. The
color note of green and white was
farrl'd nut In the mints and Ices anil
was emphasized in the handsomely ap
pointed table, which was covered
with an exquisite cloth of Madeira
with a silver basket of sweetpeas and
ferns adorning the center.
Mr, and Mrs. Thomas left on the
afternoon train for n wedding trip
nnd on tlielr return to Atlanta they
will pn to housekeeping in a very
attractively furnished apartment,
made ready for their occupancy.
The many handsome gifts will add
sterlally to the beauty of the little
home.
The Ceremony.
The wedding was performed by the
Rev. Troy Beatty, now of Tennessee,
hut formerly the pnstor of the church
attended by the Brown family when
they lived In Athens. Ga. He wia
assisted by Rev. C. B. Wilmer, of At
lanta, rector of St. Luke's church. The
ceremony was performed In th6 ball
room of the palatial home, and the
attendants Included Miss Margaret
Wilson, maid of honor, and Mrs
George McCarty, matron of honor:
the bridesmaids were .Miss Esther
Smith; Miss Hazel Nelson, both of At
lanta; Miss Ethelreda Aves, of Gal
veston, Tex.; the Mls3es Kathleen and
Alma Evuns, cousins of tho bride.
The groomsmen were Mr. Edward
M. Brown, the bride's brother; Dr.
Edmund Duval, of New York, and
Mr. Harry Stanton, of Cleveland, and
the ushers, Mr. Perclval Sneed, for
merly of Atlanta, now of Hartford.
Conn.: Mr. Herman Riddell, of At
lanta; Mr, Frederick Stevens, of New
York, and Mr. Grant Isaacs, of Ten
nessee.

bride wan emphasized by her bridal
robes of white satin, embroidered in
silver. The long train hunjt from the
shoulders was in old lace of the finest
quality and pattern, nnd' the same
lace adorned the corsage. She wore
her veil according to tne fashion
adopted In the Red Cross- headgear,
clusters of small orange blossoms con
lining It to her hair. Her flowers
were lilies and white lilacs.
The Colors.
The radiance of the cubist colors
wero reflected In the costumes of the
bridesmaids, but so arranged ns to
produce a harmony of color as mark
ed as the harmony in the flowerr
whlch combined American beauties,
the softer Shades of pinker roses, tin
.purple of the orchid and the temper
Ins shades of geraniums, primroses
and dahlias, these flowers fllling the
long boxes extending the length of
tho side walls of the ballroom. The
bridesmaids carried flowers which
contrasted with their gowns.
