of the veterans’ contingent of the
Civilian Conservation Corps dir
ing the period from June 15 until
Augitst 31 of this year. |

66 to a new quota of 1,240, *vhich
dgures for all practical purposes

“Mr. Slaton wishes to call atten
tion to the fact that the term
“veteran” includes veterans of the
Warid war, the Spanish-American
war and the Boxer Rebellion (or
Chin:n Relief Expedition), and
that applicant therefor must meet
the following rqeuirements: (l)’
gservice in the armed forces of the
United States during wary (2)
honorable - discharge from such
service; (3) veteran is unemplov
ed; (4) veteran is a citizen of the
1 nited States; (56) physical 1. -
ness, and (6) good character.
Mr. Slaton adds that applica
tion of all veterans whose perma
nent address is Georgia, should
be forwarded as promptly as pos
gible to the Manager, Veterans
Administration IMacility, Atlants,
Georgin. The applicatiors (Form!
P-130) must be submitted in du
plicate. Application blanks mayl
be obtained direct from the Veter- |
ans Administration Facility, At
lanta, Georgia, upon application,
or from the state or district of
fices of the National Re-employ
